Help us to restore peace in our neighborhoods

In 2015, Kirtland Country Club began operating a seasonal skeet shooting range from November 1st to March 31st.  The sound of gunshots is heard throughout our residential neighborhoods and at nearby schools, and places of worship – 5 months each year.
Previous attempts to end the noise have not worked, but we are not going away –we are getting organized. We have not yet exhausted our options and now we are working with legal and public awareness professionals to help us find a solution.
We know that any plan will require working with our neighbors, elected representatives and the country club - and that is our exact approach.  We intend to address this issue via any and all angles from legal to social and political pressure.
We have created a formal organization named – “End The Noise”.  Our group is made up of Kirtland, Kirtland Hills, Willoughby, Waite Hill and Mentor residents, and will need your support to find a resolution to the disruption to our lives caused by members of a country club shooting for sport.
